Miss Widget – Shop Manager / Mischief Maker
Miss Widget joined our team at Harley. She has been excelling in meet and greet to customers and guard duty. She loves to be in the workshop where she gets hours of fun helping with the repairs & reflocking saddles (great fun playing with the nice white wool). Widget has blogged for us on our facebook page and is very keen that everyone gets to hear about her adventures and any products that she thinks you should know about. Widget is proving to be a very valuable member of our team.
Tracey Habgood – Owner & Society of Master Saddlers Saddle Fitter
Tracey is the owner of Harley Equestrian which she started in 1996 in a small shop in the village. Tracey started on ponies that her mother had in at a young age competed in showing at county level. Travelled to Switzerland where she worked for the great Willi Melliger. On returning to the UK went as an Apprentice Saddler to Nigel Parker, whilst juggling training & riding her own Point to Pointers. Tracey now enjoys life at a slightly slower pace by Hunting & Showing !!!!!
Martin Ledger - Business Partner
Martin is also the Manager of Harley Country Lifestyle & Café. He owned and bred a middle weight show hunter that was ridden by Tracey and went on to compete at HOYS. He has owned numerous show horses through the years particularly cobs. Nowadays Martin can be seen thrusting over the Grafton Hunt Country !!!
Lucy Freiberg – Office Manager
Lucy came to Harley in 2016 & is responsible for media & displays. Lucy started out in eventing on PC Teams to Intermediate which led her on to managing numerous Olympic Event yards. Having moved to NZ she started rodeo & represented GB in this sport. This led onto starting film work where she rode in numerous dramas and “Lord of the Rings” Having returned from NZ Lucy now competes in dressage & has been successful up to Prix St George level.
Katherine Lewis – Customer Service Manager
Katherine works part-time at Harley along with working in her family business of fencing & groundwork. She has a background in animal nutrition& medicine sales where she was a sales rep for 15 years. Having never owned her own ponies & stealing the odd days hunting she is now living the dream mucking out her daughters ponies and taking them to Grafton Pony Club events.
Gail Rule - Senior Sales Assistant
Gail joined the team in 2022 and is a very enthusiastic sales assistant. Living locally she enjoys the countryside life. Gail has a recent 7 year background in racing. She has experience in Stud Work and also for a short period with driving horses, as well as her own.
